Four years ago, the Mars explorer Spirit was taking routine photographs of the red planet to send back to Earth. In one of the pictures, there appears to be a figure that resembles bigfoot. A bigfoot on Mars? It’s unclear whether this is a hoax or not, but this story has gained enough attention to be featured on CNN. Take a look at the clip below.
Have you ever witnessed a total lunar eclipse? Well, if you live in the western hemisphere, you’re in luck. The moon will turn an eerie shade of red on Wednesday and Thursday this week due a total lunar eclipse.
For a lunar eclipse to happen, the Sun, Moon, and Earth must be directly aligned - the moon is then caught in the shadow cast by the earth causing it to appear various shades of orange or brown. This time, however, it will appear blood red.
The moon will be in total eclipse from 0301 GMT to 0351 GMT. It will be visible in the Rocky Mountains of North America, all of Central and South America, West Africa, and Western Europe.
So if you’re going to be out at night in these locations, make sure you look up at the night sky and catch this lunar eclipse. The next total eclipse won’t take place until December 21, 2010.
If anyone can get good pictures of this event, please email them to us.

This just in: two Russian scientists claim that a device created to investigate the origins of the universe could possibly become the world’s first ever “time machine”. The scientists say the atom smashing machine could create a time tunnel which would open up a world of time hopping possibilities. The birth of actual time travel? Only time will tell… but, this looks very promising.
