Goblin Sighting in Southwest Missouri?

There’s been quite a few reports lately from around the web concerning “goblin” sightings from various parts of the United States. Are these hot summer months bringing them out of hiding? Why are goblin sightings all of the sudden being reported by such a large number of people?

In most of these strange reports, people are saying the creatures seem to resemble the evil creature in the movie Gremlins.

Here’s one case I found which details one man’s terrifying tale of being chased by one of these strange little creatures…

I was out running late at night through this large park in southwest, Missouri.

Anyway, as I was going by this patch of trees I nearly stumbled over the strangest creature I have ever seen. It was dark brown, almost black with a creme sort of mottling. Its ears were sort of long and pointed, like the gremlins in the movie, gremlins. This was close to the ground, and as I nearly tripped over it, it acted disoriented. It appeared to have been eating, or doing something on the ground.

Luckily, I did not touch it. It was sickly looking and was hairless and gross and scaly. I danced around it and it snorted and gave sort of a sickly growl and chased after me.

I screamed and took off. It was not very fast, and it sort of made a wet snorting noise as it scrambled at my heals. I ran harder, and leapt ahead as it was snapping at my calfs. It slowed as I got about twenty feet ahead, and I had to turn to see where it went. I felt like vomiting. It sat in the shadows of the tree line wheezing. I gave a blood curdling shriek at it and it took off into the treeline.

Afterwards I wondered if that had either been a rabid opossum or racoon or dog, or if it had been a demon of some sort. Again, it was not tall, and its head probably came about a foot off the ground. Luckily it had not bit or scratched me.

Alien by The Campfire in The Woods at Night

The origin of this video is relatively unknown. It shows an alien or strange creature stalking some campers around a campfire at night.

The creature itself appears to be some kind of pale being, who hunches over, with it’s long arms dangling at it’s side. It sort of resembles an alien grey, but it’s hard to tell for sure.

You can catch a few glimpses of this strange creature in the video as it stares at the campers from behind a tree – before it eventually scurries away into the darkness of the forest. It almost looks like it’s crawling on all fours, but then again the video is very dark so it’s hard to tell.

The Tapping at My Window

Here’s a reader submitted true paranormal story, coming from Mike in Colorado. It’s about one sleepless night he had out in his cabin out in the Rocky Mountains, and coming face to face with a strange creature. Thanks for this scary submission, Mike!

Hello my name is Mike and I have a strange story to share with you. I was camping out in the rocky mountains up at my cabin about 3 years ago. It was June of 2009. I was alone because every once in a while I just like to get away from city life and spend a few weeks out at my cabin just fishing and hiking. The fresh mountain air is very renewing to me.

Anyways… one night I was laying in bed around 1am planning my hiking trails for the next day and I heard a strange tapping on the window. My windows are covered by big thick curtains so I couldn’t really see what was going on outside or what could be causing the tapping. At first I just thought it was a tree branch or wild animal bumping into the window.

But the tapping was persistent and went on for about 15 minutes. Curiousity got the better of me and I creeped up quietly to the window with my lantern and flung the drapes open.

Standing outside my window was a figure about 7 feet tall and covered in thick brown fur. My gut instinct screamed bear but this was definitely no bear.

The figure walked backwards a few step as it let out a loud piercing howl followed by a short series of screams. I reckon I scared it more than it scared me! It quickly turned around and ran off into the darkness on 2 legs. It was definitely bipedal and incredibly fast and agile. Since it was dark out I didn’t get much of a good look but that thing was big and fast.

Did I see bigfoot? I’m not sure what the heck I saw but it’s a night I will never forget. I didn’t get one wink of sleep that night. The next morning I went to investigate and didn’t see no tracks or anything. I also often wonder why it was tapping on my window for 15 minutes?

Well just thought I would share my bigfoot story with you, hope you enjoyed it.

It indeed sounds like you saw a bigfoot up close and personal, Mike. Thankfully it didn’t appear to be very aggressive. I’ve read theories that state bigfoot(s) actually exist on a different plane, and they can tune in and out of our reality at will. Perhaps that’s why bigfoot appears to be so elusive, and no tracks were visible the next morning.
