Student Captures Audio of 2 Bigfoot in Shawnee National Forest
On May 18th 2012, an Illinois film student was camping out in the 280,000 acre Shawnee National Forest (located in the Ozark and Shawnee Hills of Southern Illinois) conducting some research and recording nightime sounds for a documentary.
During one of his night hikes, he captured something incredibly strange on tape. He claims it is two bigfoot. You can distinctly hear 2 different bigfoot “voices” communicating with one another as they yell and scream. The sounds are definitely somewhere in the realm between human and animal, but not quite either — and extremely chilling.
After recording a bit of audio as proof, the student packed up and left the forest in a frightened hurry. The amazing audio sound recording is located below for your listening enjoyment. As suggested in the video, wearing headphones while listening is highly recommended.

Best audio Ever! Do you know what you have? Awesome!
That is damn creepy.
I have heard MANY Vocalizations before and I have really not put any faith in any of them. This is such a crystal clear sound unlike ANY other sound supposedly of Bigfoot I have ever heard. If this is a hoax then the hoaxers really broke the mold and did something really original. You hear the first scream and it grabs you from the get go. Its like one is pure animal as well as the other but one sounds more “human” at spots but then turns around and sounds more animal in an instant. The rage heard is scary as well as the deep echo. I could go on and on with this audio. I definitely see this as becoming a top 10 or even 5 piece of Bigfoot evidence of all time. You know what I will go even further than that. If this is real it is only behind Patterson and the sierra sounds. I’m not so sure even Sierra. Awesome just Awesome.
this is as phoney as it can get. the sound is so crystal clear. of course the sound was recorded right by microphone. this guy does this to make his stories seem real. He is a film student and this is one of his stunts to get him attention in his class.if everyone believes this then believe that i have an ocean front property in arizona to sell you.

Can this audio be analyzed? Do the moderators of this page know people who could do this?
We’ve been in contact with a few people via email who may be able to analyze it better. Hopefully we’ll have some answers soon.
Having lived in So Il my entire life, and never once seeing or hearing ANYTHING even close to evidence suggesting bigfoot exists i don’t find this audio to be the thing that breaks that cycle. Yes, the audio is very clear, i’ll give the person who recorded it that. However there are quite a few bobcats in this area and that would be my first guess as to what is making the noise. I would even go as far as suggesting that one of the elusive, but existent, cougars reported in the area made the noise. But certainly NOT a pair of sasquatch.

I heard a sound similar to this once when we were camping about 3 years ago in Missouri. We didn’t have any sort of equipment to record it, but I’ll never fortget that sound because it scared me to death and I actually slept in my tent with a loaded pistol in my hand (honestly, it sounded to me like some kind of wild baboon–which I know isn’t in Missouri–so I was just terrified). Until now I’ve never heard anything like the sounds from that night again, but I’d swear this is the same thing! It sends chills down my spine just hearing that sound again! I don’t know what it is but it’s definitely REAL! The only other “evidence” we encountered was next day about a 1/2 mile in the direction of the sounds we heard, we found a deer carcass that looked like it had been ripped to shreds–spine broken in several places, large areas in the dirt that looked like drying blood, etc. I’ve been a camping enthusiast since I was a little girl and I’ve seen things that coyotes and other animals like that have eaten, but never anything like that! Whatever it was making those sounds was huge, powerful and clearly omnivorous or carnivorous. We didn’t wait around another night. After seeking that carcass and hearing those blood-curdling sounds I stopped camping in remote areas and only stay close to trails and in larger groups. I don’t think this audio is a bobcat, panther or even a bear–whatever was making those sounds, I think, was the same thing we heard and if your would have seen that deer the next morning you would know why I say that. I believe this film student may have recorded something we’ve never seen before…bigfood? North american giant baboon? I don’t know….but it sure is scary!
Have you found anyone yet to analyze the audio?
Not yet, we hope to have some more information soon though. We have a couple of experts reviewing the audio but there are no conclusive results yet.
I believe this to be fake. I have backpacked the river to river trail on more than one occasion. I have never heard anything like this. For one thing you almost never hear crickets out that deep in the woods. Secondly this is very clear and perfectly panned. You hear one scream in one ear and the other in the other ear. This continues even when both are screaming at once. There should be some bleed over even if it was recorded in stereo. One scream sounds as if it was sitting right next to you. If it was that close I think you would have been bugging out as soon as you heard the first one. Nice try.
